Every Safer Lighting product that requires certification carries either ETL or UL certification (whichever the manufacturer holds for that SKU) and is approved for use in Canada under the Ontario Electrical Safety Code. Many commercial fixtures are DLC listed, qualifying for Ontario utility rebates through Save on Energy (IESO), Hydro One, and local distribution companies.

Every LED product carries a full 5-year warranty. Pot lights, panels, high bays, wall packs, floods, strips, vanity fixtures, integrated flush mounts — all 5 years, defects in materials and workmanship, from the date of original purchase.

Replacement labour is included. Our sister company Safer Electric Inc. (ESA Licence #7008996) sends a licensed electrician to remove, replace, and re-commission the failed unit at no charge — anywhere Safer Electric travels for service in Ontario, regardless of who performed the original installation.

Outside our service area? We ship the replacement free and reimburse a licensed electrician of your choice up to a fair-rate cap. Either way, you do not pay for the defective product.
