Pot Light Installation in Ontario
In Ontario, the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) requires a permit for installing new pot lights. Work must be done by a licensed contractor and inspected by ESA. Our sister company Safer Electric (ESA Licence #7008996) provides full-service pot light installation across the GTA.

How many LED pot lights do I need per room?
1 pot light per 16-25 sq ft for ambient lighting. A 12'×12' living room (144 sq ft) typically needs 6-8 pot lights spaced 4 ft apart.
What CCT (color temperature) is best?
2700K-3000K for living spaces (warm). 3500K-4000K for kitchens, bathrooms (neutral). 5000K for garages (daylight). Our 5CCT models let you choose at install.
Are these pot lights dimmable?
Yes — all our slim panels are 0-10V or TRIAC dimmable. Compatible with most Canadian dimmers (Lutron, Leviton, Legrand).
