Certifications

Every Safer Lighting product that requires certification carries either ETL or UL certification (whichever the manufacturer holds for that SKU) and is approved for use in Canada under the Ontario Electrical Safety Code. Many commercial fixtures are DLC listed, qualifying for Ontario utility rebates through Save on Energy (IESO), Hydro One, and local distribution companies.

Warranty

LED products carry a 5-year warranty on the product against defects in materials and workmanship — pot lights, panels, high bays, wall packs, floods, strips, vanity fixtures, integrated flush mounts — all covered from the date of original purchase.

Claims handled in-house. If a covered LED fails, call us — not a manufacturer portal. We ship a free replacement or have it ready for pickup at our Brampton counter, and you do not need to return the failed unit first. Either way, you never pay for a defective product.

Non-LED electrical supplies (wire, breakers, devices, conduit, fittings, tools) carry the manufacturer's standard warranty; the 5-year product warranty applies to LED lighting only.
